Creating a future-focused digital brand presence for AGL

AGL approached us with a project to update the visual identity of their consumer website. Pushing the boundaries of what an energy retailer can look like. The business wanted to both strengthen their core while simultaneously looking to the future of where the brand is going. There were three key areas that needed to be explored in the visual language uplift and design strategy; electrification, decentralisation and green financing. The result is a bold design that elevates and evolves the AGL brand into the future of energy for Australia.

AGL wanted to strengthen their core brand promises while also looking to the future of the brand. This was to be accomplished solely with a visual uplift to design language.
Create a brand experience individuals can belong to and trust to bring them into the future of what energy can be for them and for our environment.

We took a strategic look at the use of imagery on the website, deciding that imagery should shift towards a mixture of renewable projects, technology and ultimately the environment and landscape of the country. Even indoor shots should always feature some greenery.
