Custm is now looking to build higher quality tier 1 partnerships as well as double their fleet volume per day, improve their backend technology and streamline their processes.
Ultimately Custm wants to be the fleet resourcing of choice in Australia, known for quality, safety, transparency and ease of use.
The Challenge
Custm came to JTB Studios with a desire to bridge the gap between tier 1 freight companies and fleet resourcing, through a strategic digital experience and mobile application. A strong focal point went into recruiting, educating and maintaining a pool of highly compliant drivers, as well as attracting and building more meaningful partnerships with like-minded companies.
The Solution
Our solution focused on a holistic approach beginning with a digital strategy that reimagined the fleet resourcing industry and what that looked like, drawing inspiration from technological disruptors and learning from rideshare companies on how they foster relationships between drivers and riders.
With the strategy, information gathering and planning complete, time came for the interface and visual design. The design was influenced by three key brand tonalities; intelligent solutions, modern visionary and growth relationships, this shaped the design choices that were made and helped the brand stand apart from competitors, as well as positioning the brand as a leader of the industry.
The Result
The outcome was a unique and highly bespoke horizontal scrolling digital experience, which visually guided the user from a delivery driver’s shift back to the freight depot, where the user would follow a directional line and pin points as if they were on Google Maps.
Overall the brand was elevated above the industry standard in freight and fleet resourcing, managing to take advantage of key opportunities that competitors were not taking when it came to their digital presence, which will help steer Custm’s partnerships and driver recruitment to another level.
