The project
JTB Studios were employed to create a collaborative space where commenting, doodling and voice-over features help create a simple educational experience with mutual feedback. The overall aim of the site is to increase communication on a private and semi-public platform, adding to the value made in real-time classroom experiences. This allows students to engage with one another and showcase their own work in an organised online space while providing feedback to one another.

The solution
The vision of E-Studio platform is to be an interactive creative space where students can share their inspiration, ideas and opinions, and showcase projects they work on individually or collaboratively. The design does this by staying neutral and light in order to visually emphasise the projects. The minimalist, modern design easily aligns to the E-Studio website objectives. For users the website is an opportunity to publicly and semi-publicly showcase their projects from start to finish, receive valuable feedback along the workflow and participate in group project sessions. Part of the website is visible to anyone (published projects), main collaborative functionality is hidden and available exclusively for students and other invited participants. Each E-Studio contains several Studios with its own coordinator and allocated students. Students, as well as coordinators, have their own profiles where they are able to fill in all the necessary information, add images and video to their project, use timeline option to show the complete work process and participate in discussions.
