The JTB team recently attended the Better Future Melbourne Design Awards.

If you didn’t already know the Melbourne Design awards is the largest network of design awards programs (with many other cities around the world holding shows every year). The show celebrates design of all disciplines as well as the creativity and courage of those who are leading the way.

We walked out with a Silver for our work with St Kilda Football Club on their 150 years website celebrating the rich 150 year history of the club. The night was filled with great design work from a mixture of disciplines and backgrounds. Our team didn’t just walk away with a trophy in our hands, but an appreciation for the talented designers and their work all around us.

The website was to be a celebration of not only the last 150 years but to pay homage to the dedication of the fans who are at the heart of the club. Working closely with the St Kilda marketing team the website was part of a much bigger marketing campaign including game day celebrations, TVC, and online marketing. JTB set out to create a brand experience that puts St Kilda Football Club on the international radar.

The experience is immersive in execution but also has great depth to it. There’s A LOT of content and we wanted to create something people could get lost in. It is continually being added to and will continue to evolve over time with new content being created all the time. It’s a true always on experience that fans can keep coming back to.
