JTB Studios and Fairfax partner to take printing and logistics services public

For the very first time in the company’s history, Fairfax Media are offering their printing, warehousing and distribution channels directly to the public. As a result of our successful IPS redesign, we were thrilled when Fairfax approached JTB Studios again to design and develop the Fairfax Print & Logistics website.


The brief for the website was to create something big and bold in order to emphasise the significance of the move. The bold design however needed to blend seamlessly into an intuitive user experience, with the main objective being to encourage users to submit a quote request.

The resulting website includes a simple, easy to use interface with clear information architecture and a consistent content strategy. Visually, we utilised the blue colour scheme to break down sections of content. Paired with a modern typeface and large images, the full screen design ensures Fairfax Print & Logistics stand out from the crowd.

JTB Studios worked closely with Fairfax to gain a comprehensive understanding of the businesses processes and information required in order to provide a quote for a printing job. Paired with user experience best practice, the ‘Get a Quote’ function works seamlessly across devices and proves easy for users to complete.

Along with the quote functionality, the website also includes News, Services and About Us section. An interactive print site finder also allows users to view the prints site via a map or in a simple list view.
