You have created your website, strategized a flawless digital media campaign to maintain a high rate of traffic to your web pages and social media pages and now you have lots of visitors to your website.

The hard part is done, now comes the hardest part: converting them into paying and loyal customers. It is not merely enough to generate a lot of visitors.  But, there is one tool that might help you.

Landing pages serve as the entry point for a website or a particular section of a website. Also referred to as a “lead capture page” or a “lander”, the landing page is a single web page that appears when you click on a search engine optimized search result or an online advertisement. Needless to say, landing pages are super important for your online marketing campaigning strategy. It is the one-stop point for your visitors who are looking for up to date, accurate information and so you must devote as much time as possible to making this very impactful.

Start by filling your landing page with information that must be very, very clear, concise, cogent and articulate while stating its objectives through its content and offers. Streamlined, accurate, and well-presented information is of utmost value.

Here are some tips that will tell you about conversion rates through your landing page:

Content placement:

Most humans survey a page automatically from left to right; irrespective of whether it is image or text.  People first want the information followed with a way to use it. Keep a form, or any other action oriented widgets on the lower right hand side of the page.

Navigation:

Your landing page is meant to provide pure information on product services and its benefits.  Make sure its uncluttered – stay clear of ads and other pointless things like navigational links. People will automatically ignore that extra information and be less inclined to act upon your offers.

Title/Headline:

The headline is the first thing which attracts your visitors.  So ensure it is Search Engine Optimized, Google friendly, memorable, and catchy. Attract the customers and hook them. It is a first impression, and those are the only ones that matter.

Product description and service offerings:

Soft sales pitches and attractive offers and benefits are important. Put words like “free” and “exclusive” on your landing page. Put more customer friendly deals here.

Images:

Pictures speak a thousand words and add a lot of flair to your page. Eyes get tired of reading too much. Images provide visual rest so make sure they are vibrant and relevant.

Social media sharing:

Sharing anything on social media is an effective way to drive traffic to your site. Make place for various social media buttons so that people can easily share your content with others. The potency of the social network cannot be undermined.

Links for privacy policy:

Privacy is a very sensitive thing for a lot of people today. They want to know where their personal information is going and who gets to use it. Put up a link which includes your privacy policy. This will add legitimacy to your site.

Relevant questions:

Ask only required questions that can increase your sales and avoid everything else. Surveys are not a good idea.

Your product offerings and services can be well described by landing pages. Make them attractive enough and be creative in your content placement and other enhancements in order to generate maximum leads and traffic.
